Outstanding! A prestigious award from "Wirtschaftswoche" for Tebis Consulting

Once a year, German consulting companies have the opportunity to undergo a consulting check by WirtschaftsWoche. The best in their categories are singled out.

Tebis Consulting, the manufacturing-related and software-independent consulting service of Tebis AG, was able to take home an award for the third time. The consulting team was recognized for a customer project in the "Manufacturing & Operations" category.
This year, Jens Lüdtke, Head of Tebis Consulting and his team won over the jury with their customer project with SNW Schirneker & Nacke Werkzeugbau GmbH.

Jens Lüdtke says: "We are honored by the trust given to us by enterprise customers like SNW. The project recognized by Wirtschaftswoche is an ideal illustration of how medium-sized companies can manage to position themselves viably for the future: We provide the moderating framework and support in determining the correct main strategic points. This enables the companies to optimally tap their own potential."
Jens Lüdtke explains: "Until a few years ago, corporate consulting in die and mold manufacturing was still considered an unusual combination. The importance of manufacturing companies positioning themselves strategically increases with the exacerbating conditions in our industry. The Tebis Consulting team members come from the industry themselves; we interact with our customers on an equal footing and know precisely what is important in die and mold manufacturing."

Award-winning project with Tebis customer SNW Schirneker & Nacke Werkzeugbau
For this award, Tebis Consulting submitted its customer project with provider SNW Schirneker & Nacke Werkzeugbau GmbH from the region of Lippe, Germany.

The objective of this die manufacturing provider with a broad portfolio of injection molding and die casting dies was to position itself viably for the future and to more clearly develop its own profile – especially in comparison with the competition. There was no need to lay any groundwork; SNW was able to get started immediately with the consulting team from Tebis Consulting. Key milestones in the cooperative effort were the joint development of company principles and a strategy.

Carsten Nacke, Managing Director at SNW, summarizes: "In retrospect, I am very happy to have contracted with Tebis Consulting. The joint projects over the last two years have had a huge positive effect in the company, rewarded by successes that are clearly visible. I see Tebis Consulting primarily as a strategic partner who offers us consistent support throughout the entire process chain."
Tebis Consulting started the project with a stocktaking. They examined how the complete order flow through SNW looked, spoke with employees, investigated processes, manufacturing buildings and machinery and prepared a corresponding analysis. Carsten Nacke explains: "The solutions developed in connection with this were highly pragmatic and not so far from reality as we might be used to from 'classic' consultants."

SNW is now also better able to tap its potential on the software side. The consultants from Tebis Consulting are aware of the conditions in die manufacturing and recommended highly targeted measures: SNW employees now use simulation technology and NC templates in the CAD/CAM software for automated and safe processes. And optimized planning software now enables SNW to time its manufacturing projects more precisely.

"Best of Consulting Mittelstand" project competition
Wirtschaftswoche has been organizing its free annual "Best of Consulting Mittelstand" project competition for more than 10 years. As a prerequisite for participation, companies must have a minimum level of consulting revenues. A scientific advisory board and jury evaluate projects in ten categories. They review the success of the projects by the consulting companies and evaluate them based on the criteria of "technical and communications dimension," "actual impact" and "customer satisfaction."
